Eligibility
- If you’re first author on a lab paper that year: the lab will typically fund one relevant conference per calendar year (subject to available funds).
- Want to attend more than one? Apply for travel awards / student support (I’ll help).
- Before you book anything: get PI approval for (a) conference choice, (b) estimated budget, and (c) what you’re presenting. Without advance PI approval, reimbursement is not guarenteed.
- Two weeks before travel: present a practice talk/poster in lab meeting.
- After: share 5 minutes of takeaways + update the lab Publications list.
