Our goal is to hold a space to discuss the interaction between biology and engineering in aerodynamics and aircraft design. Paper topics will range from flight dynamics or aerodynamics to animal behavior or biomechanics. This topic may grow over time and we are most importantly intending to create an avenue to comfortably and regularly discuss science.

Meeting outline

• We will meet every two weeks in 155 Hutchinson Hall (hybrid option is available).
• We will take turns explaining to the group the key takeaways of each journal figure. This will be followed by a general discussion.
• Please come prepared to share your thoughts, questions, and new ideas after having read the selected paper.
• We will alternate who suggests the article and is the discussion leader for each meeting.
